SEM9.GANK was invited to compete in the Pandapro SEA Cup tournament, which was held from November 18th to November 21st, 2021. The tournament lasted four days and had 16 teams from Southeast Asia.
SEM9.GANK was one of Malaysia’s representatives competing in the Pandapro SEA Cup. SEM9.GANK got off to a good start on the first day, finishing the day in second place overall. With 1 WWCD to help SEM9.GANK collect 64 points.
On the second and third day, SEM9.GANK was unable to get any WWCD but still finished first overall. The consistent performance displayed in the first three days bolstered SEM9.GANK’s confidence and everyone was hopeful that SEM9.GANK could win the cup.
However, on the last day of the competition, SEM9.GANK was only able to collect 34 points and was overtaken by PUMAxCELEB ESPORT in the final moments. As a result, SEM9.GANK finished the Pandapro SEA Cup in second place.
SEM9.GANK took home a total of $1000 USD from finishing second place in the Pandapro SEA Cup tournament. Even if it is only an invitational competition, the team is still showing its fangs at the Southeast Asian level.
